Who we are
True Clarity is operated by Connor Faulkner, trading as True Clarity (trueclarity.ie). Our registered address is available on request. Contact us at: hello@trueclarity.ie
What data we collect
- Account data: Email address and password when you create an account.
- Profile data: Business name, business type, and county — optional, provided by you.
- Assessment data: Your answers to the AI Readiness Assessment and the resulting scores.
- Payment data: Stripe processes payment information. We do not store card details.
- Usage data: Anonymised page views collected via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no personal data).
Legal basis for processing
- Contract: Account data and payment data are processed to deliver the service you have purchased.
- Legitimate interest: Anonymised analytics to improve the product.
- Consent: Email marketing (where you have opted in).
How we use your data
- To provide access to the True Clarity toolkit and playbooks
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send service-related emails (account confirmation, receipts)
- To improve the product using anonymised analytics
Data sharing
We share data only with the following processors:
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU hosting available)
- Stripe — payment processing (GDPR compliant, EU entity available)
- Vercel — hosting (GDPR compliant)
- Plausible Analytics — anonymised usage analytics (EU-hosted, no personal data)
We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months. Assessment data is retained for 24 months. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability
