CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

A CRM is software that helps you keep track of your customers, leads, and interactions all in one place. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes, and email threads, a CRM stores each customer's contact details, purchase history, and conversation history. Many modern CRMs now include AI features that can remind you to follow up, suggest next steps, or draft messages for you. Popular options include HubSpot (free tier available) and Zoho CRM.

Real-world example

A Kildare landscaping company switches from a spreadsheet to a free HubSpot CRM. They can now see at a glance which leads have not been followed up, and the system automatically reminds them to call customers whose quotes are a week old.
