Voice Assistant

A voice assistant is an AI tool you interact with by speaking rather than typing. Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant are the most familiar examples. For businesses, they can be used to set reminders, look up information, dictate messages, or control smart devices hands-free. More advanced AI voice tools can now handle customer phone calls and answer questions automatically.

Real-world example

A Wexford electrician uses Siri to dictate job notes and create calendar reminders while on-site, keeping both hands free and avoiding errors from typing on a small screen.
